Video Editor

London Contract 6 months+

Up to £185 p/d (pay to the umbrella company)

Our Global media client is looking for a video editor to create great content for their social media platforms. The right candidate will have experience editing Sports content and be able to prove high standard content experience with excellent video editing skills. You must have experience using motion graphics, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.

Do you have a detailed knowledge of the world of sport? Do you have 2+years working experience editing long and short form video content?

Responsibilities will include:

  • Edit short and long-form videos for UK social media channels.
  • Write video scripts for engaging editorial videos, covering news and features.
  • Working collaboratively with global social teams, particularly in the US.
  • Communicate regularly and in real-time with editorial teams, both locally and internationally, especially around breaking news coverage and strategic storytelling initiatives.

Experience required:

  • Editing video and writing scripts, specific to the needs and specs of multiple social media platforms.
  • Excellent video editing skills, using motion graphics and software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms.
  • A strong knowledge of global and domestic sport.
  • Demonstrable experience of journalistic practice and real-time news judgment.
  • Understand and follow closely the latest in social media trends.
  • Knowledge of media law, including copyright and consent.
