SharePoint Developer for an international Media business is required to build a new site (modify from a cloned copy of an existing site for a different region) The site when finished will be used by the Advertising Sales Team and Senior Executives, so it not only needs to be fuctional but well presented.

The project is to build a new Sharepoint site for the Europe and Africa region replicating an exsisting one being used by the North American team. The site contains document repositories / libraries and links out to those documents from pages and ensures documents are searchableso experience of this will be required.

Required experience:

Strong background as a SharePoint Developer with recent and upto date skills in this area. In Addition to this you will need to be forward thinking and a really good communicator. This role is based on site in West London so you need to be located in this area and available at short notice and within budget.

The successful candidate would need to work with the internal team to design a site map and build out those pages as required.

May also need to work with a 3rd party design agency to build page headers and images with appropriate content as the site will be used by Senior Executives and needs to look professional.

It will also need a security model for read only access and full access for key users so you will need previous experience of this.

Once built, the candidate will need to start onboarding and training users how to import files into the library and build links to those files for ease of access in the site. Finally, document and hand over the site to an internal resource for future management and maintenance.

Must be able to:
Train users to manage the platform in self-service mode.
Build a security model.
Handover administration to an internal Person.
Ad Sales experience desirable but not essential.
