Senior Software Developer/Engineer

Central London - Permanent - £50-70k+

If you're a multi-skilled Software Engineer, interested building an entirely new breed of banking platform from the ground up, wanting to challenge the norm and work as part of a growing team of creative technologists then we may just have the job for you! We thrive on problem solving and building scalable, secure solutions and are looking for a like-minded Engineer to join us as we scale our awesome platform and help people everywhere get access to online banking solutions.

What to expect:

You'll be working with a CTO and Software Development Director with over 25 years of software development experience, huge breadth of languages, with the ability to develop his teams to thrive and succeed through his friendly, inclusive and approachable management style. No two days are the same here and this will really put your skills to the test!

Essential skills required:

  • Commercial programming experience in at least 3 languages including PHP + NodeJS
  • Familiar with digital signatures, secure hashing algorithms and encrypting / decrypting data
  • Continuous Integration / CI Jenkins or similar
  • Unit Testing: PHPUnit, PHPSpec or similar
  • Database experience: MySQL / Aurora / DynamoDB
  • Source control management with Git
  • Building and consuming secure APIs
  • You should be familiar with PSR-2 Coding Standard - we like to be able to understand and collaborate on each other's work with ease

Also, great if you have experience with:

  • CQRS Event Sourcing & wider experience with Microservices
  • Front end development experience with JS frameworks
  • Experience working within PCI compliant organisations
