Programme / Project Manager (IT Business & Finance Systems Integration)
12 month contract - West London
Start - ASAP Jan 2020 - Up-to £600 per day
With the merge of 2 global businesses, we are seeking an experienced Programme / Project Manager to oversee and manage the governance structure and process of the integration of the business systems between the two companies, particularly around the finance systems.
You'll need to have a high-level understanding of core business processes including Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Sales and Distribution as well as the IT systems that support them.
The role will require strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to connect with and lead a variety of project constituents. It also requires strong business analysis skills and the ability to learn new businesses quickly, and to think strategically, remaining focused on priorities. You'll have Programme and Project Management responsibilities.
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentation and collaboration
Excellent project management, organisational, and leadership skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non technical clients and proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels
Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment, prioritize work and meet deadlines
Ability to diplomatically challenge stakeholders to keep aligned with priorities
Extensive knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organisational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods
Required Experience:
Extensive experience in large, multi-national organisations
Business process experience (not only technical)
Complex integration projects
Working with Legal, Tax, HR, Operations (ERP systems) International experience (UK/US) - especially European business practices
Media experience is nice but not required
M&A experience a plus
