Full Stack Developer - Up to 50K - London/Shoreditch
Rapid career progression opportunity
Our client provides digital and physical design services for global brands. They want to extend their offering so as well as being able to provide design services, they will also be able to build out the digital and tech solutions. That's where you'll come in! You'll be able to build prototypes and small web apps and you'll be confident in you full stack development skills. You'll work with designers and UI developers, but the more you can achieve on your own, the better.
This role will be like starting in a start-up - but with all the benefits of working with an established company, with a great pipeline of interesting projects to work on. You'll be working closely with the Technology Director, who is growing the technology capability in the business. You will be the first direct hire in the team. Where you want this role to take you over the next 2-5 years, will be up to you. It could be Tech Lead, it could be managing a small team.
What skills will you need to have now:
- You'll be a problem solver - able to think creatively and to be hands on in solving problems
- You'll be able to support the team in the conceptual design process
- You'll have experience of full stack development and examples of prototypes and web apps you've built
- Because of the start-up like environment, you'll be happy supporting wider tasks and helping to shape the development environment, the processes, the tech stack, best practice. Are you up for a challenge like this?
There is no tech stack in place currently but if you are to tick off some of the following and be flexible to learn new technologies and reach out beyond your core skills then you'll be able to help define the tech:
NodeJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, EmberJS, Flutter, Python, HTML5, CSS, Sass, REST, .Net, Java, Django, Ruby, MySQL, NoSQL, AWS, Azure, GCP, Git, MSTeams, Windows, Mac, microcontrollers, electronics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi……
If you have an interest or even a degree in Electronics and/Or Electronic Engineering, this could be a perfect role for you!
If you are looking to work in a business where there is a real opportunity for an accelerated career path, and where you'll be working with a great team working on ground breaking projects for top tier clients, and where you'll be encouraged to learn and grow - then send me a copy of you latest CV and we can arrange an informal chat to see if this is the right opportunity for you.
