We are looking for an experienced Business Application Support Analyst with some financial accounting knowledge responsible for handling business related external and in-house bespoke applications. You must have great communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team. This role is based in Hammersmith West London working for one of the greatest Global consumer and media brands!

The role is a 2nd line Applications Support Analyst - supporting the Finance and Accounting applications on which this Global Brands business relies on. This role provides detailed systems analysis of system and data issues in order to resolve customer queries or correct system outputs. The job holder requires good technical understanding and business application support experience, financial accounting knowledge and analytical ability to understand the complex nature of this Consumer Product licensing and contracts business. This is a key position in ensuring that business service and internal and external customer expectations are met.


-2-3 years experience providing business systems/workflow support / application support for bespoke in-house developed applications
-Financial Accounting knowledge/applications i.e. Revenue Accounting Invoicing/billing, credit control, Forecast & Planning applications etc
- If you have some exposure to the consumer product and licencing sector, contract lifecycle management that would be great!
-Strong Analytical / Analyst skills - This role would suit someone who has worked in an analytical role or junior business analyst role supporting bespoke systems. (This is not an IT technical support helpdesk role it is more a business systems workflow support, role requiring analytical skills not in depth technology skills)
-Relevant Business and/or Computer Science degree
-Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
-Excellent telephone manner with great communication skills both written and oral, able to articulate complex ideas in succinct, business terms without the use of technical jargon.
-Strong working knowledge of service management, working to SLA's and experience ideally working in an ITIL environment
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
-Demonstrated ability to complete assignments with speed, accuracy, and quality
-Effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Highly Desirable

-Understanding Consumer Product creative Applications and Workflow or Contract Administration Lifecycle Management (ideal or similar) OR Intellectual Property Asset Management (ideal or similar) OR Consumer Product Licensees. -Work within the ITIL framework


-Understanding of financial principles within a corporate environment
-Understanding of SAP usage within a corporate environment
-Exposure/Knowledge of Consumer business segments
-B2B Systems & Processes
-Experience using ServiceNow
-SOX's awareness and compliance
