We are looking for an experienced Business Application Support Analyst responsible for handling business related external and in-house bespoke applications, ideally with exposure to the consumer product and licencing sector. This is a long term ongoing contract for one of the greatest global consumer brands!
You'll be an excellent communicator and team-player and able to remain calm whilst under pressure whilst keeping business stakeholders informed of progress of issues. Highly organised and analytical, you'll find it easy to prioritise work and manage deadlines. You will have good questioning technique and excellent telephone manner and be able to handle complex issues independently.
You will be highly motivated and continually strive to develop and improve both yourself and your role. In addition, you will work collaboratively across the different teams within consumer products and share knowledge in an existing culture of learning. You should have a good attention to detail be able to define and follow standards and processes. Combined with this you'll have a strong working knowledge of service management, working to SLA's and experience of working in an ITIL environment would be an advantage.
-Relevant Business and/or Computer Science degree
-2-3 years experience providing business systems/workflow support / application support for bespoke in-house developed applications. Role would also suit someone who has worked in an analytical role or junior business analyst role supporting bespoke systems. (This is not an IT technical support helpdesk role it is more a business systems workflow support, role requiring analytical skills not in depth technology skills)
-Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
-Excellent telephone manner with great communication skills both written and oral, able to articulate complex ideas in succinct, business terms without the use of technical jargon.
-Strong working knowledge of service management, working to SLA's and experience ideally working in an ITIL environment
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
-Demonstrated ability to complete assignments with speed, accuracy, and quality
-Effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
-Understanding Consumer Product creative Applications and Workflow or Contract Administration Lifecycle Management (ideal or similar) OR Intellectual Property Asset Management (ideal or similar) OR Consumer Product Licensees. To a lesser extent Revenue Accounting and Forecast & Planning applications
-Work within the ITIL framework
-Understanding of financial principles within a corporate environment
-Understanding of SAP usage within a corporate environment
-Exposure/Knowledge of Consumer business segments
-B2B Systems & Processes
-Experience using ServiceNow
-SOX's awareness and compliance
Other traits we are looking for is reliability, trustworthy, ability to learn new business applications quickly, keep application and support documentation up to date, able to use communications skills and personality to build strong working relationships with end users and other relevant business stakeholders.
