Broadcast Programme Manager & Snr Broadcast Project Manager with specialist broadcast industry experience including strong knowledge of Broadcast Scheduling Systems / Channel Management software and workflows (Ideally previous experience managing migrations from Sintec Onair to MediaGenix Whats'On WON or similar scheduling broadcast application migrations). Also familiarity with related metadata, rights, Adsales, content supply chain, and some familiarity the wider broadcast ecosystem tools and technology - Playout & distribution, Media Asset Management (MAM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Rights Management, Transcoding and relevant Workflows. etc
Must be good at Managing Snr stakeholders to VP level and good experience with business change and Software Application Projects within a broadcast environment.
This is to join a wider international programme overseeing the migration and harmonisation of international broadcast media systems, workflows and content.
Methodology includes using Agile Squads, engaging with Snr stakeholders, understanding the current portfolio of projects and scoping, planning and delivering in a complex environment. Providing clear management, leadership, decision-making and programme & project reporting using best practice to ensure full visibility and successful delivery.
This is a 7 month contract initially and can be based outside IR35 based up to a max of £675pd depending on experience. Must be available within 4 weeks and based in the UK within easy reach of the London offices for regular workshops post covid.
-Proven working experience in project & program management of multinational, multi-platform broadcast projects
-Knowledge and experience delivering projects between broadcast programming and scheduling applications (OnAir and What's ON application knowledge would be preferred)
-Familiarity with broadcast eco-system tools and technology - Playout & distribution, -Media Asset Management (MAM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Rights Management, Transcoding and relevant Workflows.
