Broadcast Systems Business Analyst - Broadcast Media - Must have previous Broadcast Media Business Analyst experience.
Our Global iconic Broadcast media client based in West London are seeking experienced Broadcast Business Analysts to work as part of a Broadcast Channel Management System Migration programme. This will require someone that has previously worked as a Business Analyst within the Broadcast sector and understands Broadcast Management Systems and relevant Workflows and Broadcast Data.
London/Hybrid Outside ir35 £550-600pd Outside ir35, London Hybrid (must have right to work in the UK)
-1st Broadcast Business Analyst will be focussed on the Broadcast Reporting requirements for the new Broadcast Management System for a number of teritorries.
-2nd Broadcast Business Analyst will need specific experience of WhatsON Broadcast Management systems experience to help with the Broadcast Management System configuration of the target BMS system.
-Other more technical Broadcast Business Analysts with Broadcast Management Systems integration and Broadcast Data Migration experience would also be of interest. Someone who understands the terminology, technology and broadcast data migration/interchange and integration between systems such as Broadcast Management Systems (BMS) and other interfacing applications such as Airtime sales Systems (ATS), Media Asset Management Systems (MAM) and potentially some nonlinear (VoD) Systems/Workflows would also be of interest.
12-month contract Outside Ir35. Some of the work will include Hybrid Working including client site in West London
You must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
Available within a months notice - start before 19 April
Required experience and skills:
-Relevant experience in a similar Broadcast Business Analyst /Broadcast System Analyst role, Must have Broadcast media industry/Systems experience
-Must have Broadcast Management Systems / Broadcast Scheduling Systems experience and knowledge
-Minimum 3 years' experience performing business/systems analysis covering broadcast IT domains
-Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral
-Experience of Agile Methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
-Experienced at working with third party suppliers and across time zones and cultures
-Solid understanding of technology, best practice and concepts used to connect and support systems and data e.g., XSD, XML, SQL or similar
-Good knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
-Evidenced ability to influence and negotiate
-Experience or solid appreciation of how to successfully work as an analyst in a distributed, cross-functional technical project team
-Experience with Migration Projects/Data Migration Projects - ideally some SQL understanding used for Migration and Reporting
-Broadcast Management Systems Data and workflow knowledge ie Broadcast Data/Rights Management Data knowledge, especially the existing Broadcast Management System Sintec Onair or Target system WhatsON or similar.
-Understanding of data hierarchies/ data models in Broadcast Management Systems would be useful
-Knowledge of data transactions via interfaces between Broadcast Management Systems and Media Asset Management Systems
-Understanding of data-driven workflows in the Broadcast area and the relationship with the Content Supply Chain to enable delivery
-Great eye for detail
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Ability to maximise operational efficiency
-UK resident & right to work required.
Write clear and concise requirements and acceptance criteria by conducting interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions using core analyst capabilities of elicitation, visualization, and facilitation
Capture, creation & documenting of technical requirements/specs
Make confident recommendations to the business and teams in accordance with the project(s) requirement(s)
Easily articulate technical information/tasks to non-technical personnel
Provide hands on support with technical support activities where appropriate
Arrange client reviews of software under development, ensuring client satisfaction
Apply change management processes to support the technical changes
Communicate progress status for technology or business stakeholders
Build and maintain productive relationships with partners from other segments within the Company
