Leading Broadcast Media and Entertainment company based in West London require an Agile Project Manager with experience of Software delivery gained in the Broadcast Media sector with good knowledge of Cloud based Solutions especially AWS. We're looking for a dynamic and passionate Agile Project Manager to join the technology team during the build and launch phase of a crucial new component of our broadcast workflow, a new bespoke media management solution based on AWS. Working with a small internal development team and our external partners, you'll play a central role in agreeing requirements, planning our sprints, tracking progress, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum. Role specification/ services to be provided

  • Manage the day to day production requirements of the project
  • Lead daily stand-ups to ensure the team is clear on their tasks
  • Manage stakeholder's requirements, keeping them informed throughout
  • Break projects down into stories that clearly state the story requirements, test cases, size and any further information or assets as relevant
  • Contribute to the sprint planning process to accurately size stories, establish team velocity
  • Contribute to sprint showcases to inform the wider business of progress
  • Contribute to the sprint retrospectives to strive to improve processes
  • Keep the Freeway Programme Manager in regular touch with progress, risks and issues

Required Skills / Experience Required

  • Experience of media / broadcast project management within a multi-discipline team
  • Experience of agile project management methodologies - sprints, stand-ups, stories, velocity, retrospectives, sprint planning, showcases etc.
  • Experience of successfully delivering software projects in a broadcast environment
  • Experience of managing multi-disciplinary development teams
  • Familiarity with broadcast terminology and concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting technologies including AWS S3 / Glacier / Lambda / Step Function / EC2
  • Familiarity with modern software development tools including Jira, Confluence and Slack
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, comfortable juggling changing priorities
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects or work strands at the same time
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across a number of teams and departments as well as external partners
  • A genuine passion for TV and the entertainment industry in general
