You know its summertime when Wimbledon begins, the tubes are insufferable, and there’s a mariachi band playing outside your office (or maybe that’s just Heddon Street).
This year we decided that the Henley Royal Regatta would be the perfect excuse to get out of the office and spend the day socialising, spectating and sunning. Suited and booted we left London and headed through the Oxfordshire countryside into the delightfully quaint town of Henley.
As chance had it, we had chosen the hottest day of the year, so as we arrived into Fawley Meadows and we seized the opportunity to take a morning River cruise.
We next headed to the marquee and spent the afternoon watching the races, devouring the delicious food, and enjoying Pimms in the English summer. A fantastic day out!
A big thanks to Imperial Corporate Events for organising the day and also Mint Coaches for the excellent transportation there and back.
